5 Days – Enjoy The Trip

Day 1: Airport / Medan – Bukit Lawang Upon your arrival at Kualanamu International Airport (KNO), our driver will meet you and transfer you to Bukit Lawang (3–4 hours drive). After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy—take a refreshing swim in the river or go for a peaceful walk around the charming local village.

Day 2: 1-Day Orangutan Trekking Adventure After breakfast at 9:00 AM, our expert guide from Trekking Sumatra Expedition will take you into the lush Gunung Leuser National Park. For 6–7 hours, we will explore the jungle in search of wild Sumatran orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys, gibbons, and macaques. Enjoy a picnic lunch of fresh tropical fruits in the forest, followed by an exhilarating traditional tube rafting trip back down the river to your hotel.

Day 3: Bukit Lawang – Lake Toba (Via Berastagi) We depart for Lake Toba via the beautiful highlands of Berastagi. We’ll make a stop at the colorful local Fruit Market and the spectacular Sipiso-piso Waterfall. In the afternoon, we arrive at Lake Toba and cross to Samosir Island for a peaceful overnight stay by the lake.

Day 4: Samosir Island Cultural Discovery Enjoy a full day touring Samosir Island. We’ll visit the historical village of Ambarita, then proceed to Simanindo to explore the Batak Museum and enjoy a traditional Batak dance performance at 10:30 AM. We also visit local artisans to see traditional ulos (hand-woven fabric) being made. Return to your accommodation in the afternoon to relax.

Day 5: Samosir Island – Medan / Airport On your final day, we transfer you from Samosir Island back to Kualanamu Airport (KNO) for your onward journey.
